PROJECT UPDATE: 🌍 Plastic-Free Shores, Plastic-Free Water 🌊♻️

One of our earlier projects, Plastic Pollution Awareness Raising in Antalya by Ecological Research Association (EKAD), was selected to receive funding from Conservation Collective’s partnership with Depeche Mode and Hublot. This generous support allows us to scale up our crucial work combating plastic pollution.

Here’s a summary of our recent achievements 🌊🌟

EKAD has hosted two major events, engaging over 1,160 individuals and 29 businesses in vital discussions about reducing plastic waste. Our efforts led to the collection of 50.76 kg of plastic and 66 litres of cigarette ends, directly addressing the pollution in our seas and on our beaches.

Our message about plastic-free beaches has reached new heights, thanks to extensive media coverage with over 20 news articles and reports across major Turkish media outlets, ensuring widespread awareness and engagement.

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to make strides in our mission for a plastic-free future!
