Rebuilding with Nature: Progress Updates from the Earthquake Region
Dear Friends of TCEF,
As we step into 2025, we want reflect on the resilience of both nature and communities in southern Türkiye. It has been over two years since the earthquakes reshaped this region, and while recovery continues, we remain deeply saddened by the loss of lives. Our thoughts are with all those affected.
At TCEF, we believe that restoring nature is a crucial part of long-term resilience. In collaboration with Turkish Philanthropy Funds (TPF), Turkey Mozaik Foundation (TMF) and Support Foundation for Civil Society (STDV)we have funded seven projects with a total grant of 2,067,830 TRY.
These projects focus on:
- Restoring coastal and marine ecosystems
- Promoting sustainable food systems
- Tackling urgent environmental challenges in Hatay, Adana, and Mersin
